Frequently Asked
Kindergarten is free from 2 years old for 30 hours a week. To achieve this, we require you to attest your 20 hours from the government. We do ask for a donation of $5 per day, per Whānau.
We always have spaces available at our association. While this may not always be at your initial kindergarten of choice, you can experience the same quality and care across all 24 kindergartens.
Yes, if the kindergarten of your choice does not have a space but you wish to start immediately, you can relocate once a space at your preferred kindergarten arises.
Kindergarten South’s goal is to ensure all kindergarten staff are fully qualified. We are proud to be very successful in this area.
